Ebani Edwards, the founder of counseling works, is a clinical counselor offering individual, couple and group behavioral services to adults. She provides virtual or in person therapy and assessments (i.e. drug and alcohol assessments required by court). She has serviced various populations as a clinician as well as facilitating workshops including diversity, parenting education and anger management. With over 20 years in the field, Ms. Edwards is able to provide resources and referrals to help you meet your needs and reach your goals. counseling works provides person centered trauma informed care. counseling works is unique in that we recognize the importance of drama, creative writing and other arts in providing holistic care. Ms. Edwards is a performance poet, actress, and playwright, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in creative writing from Bowling Green State University. She who uses various creative modalities for clients who are open to them.
She is a professional, yet fun, therapist. She has personally experienced the healing properties of using alternative methods in therapy. Ms. Edwards also has several years of practical experience in child, teen and adult practices in several agencies using play, holistic, creative, crisis interventions, Group, PHP, Workshops (teens and adults).
